A Boston "LONDON" marked plate - SOLD

This 8 1/2"Boston plate is marked with the Boston "London" touch found in association with Robert Bonynge's mark and others.

With the single strike it is most likely this plate was made by the owner of the Semper Eadem in gateway touchmark. The dates for this plate are circa 1760-75.

The mold in which this plate was cast was later used by Thomas Badger. The plate is in very good condition with a fine "as struck" touchmark.
