An Inverted Mold Pewter Teapot by Boardman & Hart. - SOLD

This handsome inverted mold teapot was made by Boardman and Hart, NYC 1828-53. Although marked New York it is believed this and all items marked this way were produced in Hartford.

The partnership was between Thomas D. Boardman and Lucius Hart.

The Boardmans operated a sales office in New York City during this time period and before this with a different partnership.

This pot is in fine condition with a fine touchmark. The piece measures 7 1/4" to the top of the finial.
