An Unmarked Pewter Chamberstick Possibly by the Boardmans - SOLD

An Unmarked Pewter Chamberstick Possibly by the Boardmans

This handsome pewter chamberstick follows the style characteristics of the shaft design employed by the Boardmans on the chambersticks marketed by the partnership of Boardman and Hall of Philadelphia.

This chamberstick is in very nice condition only having a light amount of light etching in the well of the saucer, other than this slight imperfection, the rest of the piece is nearly in new condition.

The lathe marks on the back of the saucer are as clear as the day it was made.

The stick measures 3 1/2" tall and the saucer has a diameter of 5 5/8". A very attractive piece of American Pewter Lighting.
