A Sales Receipt from Frederick Bassett

This document is a sales receipt signed by Frederick Bassett working NYC and Hartford, CT circa 1761-1799.

Bassett produced a wide variety of forms including plates dishes basins mugs tankards teapots porringers bedpans etc.

His designs and quality of metal and workmanship were exemplary.

This receipt lists 6 Quart tea potts, 6 Pint and one-half tea potts, 6 Quart potts (mugs), 6 Pint potts (mugs) 10 Quart basons, 12 Pint basons, 12 Small porringers and 6 Large porringers.

As to wether or not these were items he produced or Export items he was selling in his shop is impossible to tell. However this is a scarce document recording a substantial sale to a Merchant, Jonathan Humphreys.
