Peter Warner was a coverlet weaver in Carrol County MD. This coverlet measures 90"x95" not including the fringe. He employed a deer motif that is very uncommon. The words "BEAUTY PATENT" are included in the border.
This coverlet is Wool and Cotton and is in very fine condition. The material is very crisp and the colors vibrant. A very scarce type and a great addition to a serious coverlet collection. (W&P)
