A Pair of Pewter Semi-Deep Plates by Boardman - SOLD

A Pair of Pewter Semi-Deep Plates by Boardman

This pair of semi-deep pewter plates were made by the Boardmans of Hartford Connecticut and would date circa 1815-50's. This type of plate was commonly found in communion services. They were also used domestically.

This pair is in very fine condition with superbly struck touchmarks. There is little to no wear on the surfaces of these examples. 9 3/8" in diameter.
