A Unmarked Pewter Pear Form Teapot from the Danforth/Boardman Molds - SOLD

This pear form teapot was made in the molds used by Samuel Danforth and subsequently by the Boardmans both of Hartford, CT.

Judging by the heavy construction it is probable this is a product of Samuel Danforth's shop. Danforth worked from 1795-1816, his Nephews the Boardmans began in 1804.

In very good plus condition inside and out, a very pleasing form, at the fraction of the price of a marked example. This pot measures 7 3/8" tall to the top of the finial. (SPECIAL PRICE NOW $465.00)
