This pair of English sugar nippers date from the late 18th to early 19th century. The quality of the metal work is similar to the quality seen on firearms of this period.

he embellishments of filed designs enhance an otherwise simple tool and give it an elegance beyond it's intended function to chip or nip of pieces of sugar from a sugar cone.

In fine condition measuring 10" in length.
