A Quart Boardman Mug

This quart mug was made in Hartford Connecticut by the firm of Thomas Danforth Boardman and his brother Sherman.

The Boardmans were grandsons of Thomas Danforth II of Middletown and followed in the "family" business.

Thomas Boardman was trained by his uncles Edward and Samuel Danforth.

This mug is 5 3/4" tall to the lip is in very good condition with a very good to fine touch. There is some pitting on the inside bottom of the mug probably due to fluid residue being allowed to sit uncleaned.
