An Inverted Mold Teapot by Freeman Porter - SOLD

Freeman Porter had a very successful pewter manufacturing business in Westbrook, ME working from 1835-1860's.

His earlier production was of excellent design and quality. His later production in some cases bowed to the changing designs and became a more "mass produced" type product. Never the less the overall quality and workmanship were always present.

This teapot is in near new condition. The finial button is original although cracked (glued). The height is 7 3/8" to the top of the finial
