An 18th Century Unmarked Continental Caster - SOLD

The Continent is noted for the handsome casters that were produced in the mid 18th to early 19th century. This is likely 18th century.

Numerous varieties of this form exist with an even wider variation it the piercings found on the caps.

These were used primarily as sugar casters.

In very good to near fine condition measuring 5 1/4" tall to top of finial
