A Cylindrical Font Flared Base Whale Oil Lamp

This cylinder font sparking lamp has a flared base like the end of a trumpet. The burner and thread collar are of brass as this was stronger and more durable than their pewter counterparts.

Note the finger ring is oval in shape. This is not due to being bent but was actually made that way. It fits the end on one's finger very nicely

In fine condition measuring 2 7/8" tall with a base diameter of 3".(vh)
