An Export Plate by Townsend & Compton - SOLD

Townsend & Compton are probably responsible for more exports to Amereica than any other firm from England.

They were in business from around 1784-1802. They produced many different forms. The quality of their metal and workmanship was always excellent.

I good condition with good touches, 7 5/8" in diameter.
