This unmarked crown handle porringer is believed to be English. They are found in New England and thus far all examples are unmarked.
The handle is distinguished by the small circular "bubble" decorations in the background. There is some discussion that these may be American and related to a dolphin handle that is found with the same type of "bubble" decoration.
This porringer is in very good condition with some pitting to the boss of the bowl. Otherwise it would be very fine. The bowl diameter is 5 1/4".
