A Pair of Cast Decorated Push-Up Pewter Candlesticks - SOLD

This attractive pair of cast decorated push-up pewter English Domestic candlestick have an uncommon leaf decoration.

The majority of English push-up candlesticks with decoration along the various edges have what is called a "rope" border. This pair has leaves and what appears to be berries.

The pair is in near fine condition and retains the original pair of push-ups. The corks have been replaced as the original ones had become rotten with age and exposure to various waxes.

The pair measures 8 11/16" tall.
