Henry Joseph Marked 18th Century Export Pewter Caster

Marked Henry Joseph Export Pewter Caster. Joseph had a substantial export market to the Colonies. His firm was located in London and produced pewter from 1736 until 1787.

This caster is struck with his HI touch on the underside of the foot. The cap screws on and has round piercings with incised lines in between. This measures 4” tall to the top of the finial. 18th Century Export casters are uncommon and marked examples even more so.

A fine example of a scarce form that will make a nice addition to any collection of Export Pewter.
