A Pair of English Domestic 18th Century Sifters

This pair of English Domestic Sifters appear identical to a single example shown in Pewter of the Western World by Peter Hornsby fig. 434. These measure 6 3/8” tall to the top of the finial. They are in “as found” condition.

There is an old “collector’s descriptive” label on the bottom of one. Both are in good plus condition.

To my knowledge this is a form that appears not to have been exported to the Colonies.
