A Jacquard Patterned Coverlet by Michael Weand - SOLD

This Jacquard patterned coverlet was woven by Michael Weand of Pottstown, Montgomery County, PA for a J Weisner and M Weisner in 1838.

Most coverlets with client names generally have a single name. This was likely made either for a marriage or an anniversary.

In fine condition with bright colors. A bird border. Rolled top edge with fringe on sides and bottom. 96" long by 82" wide.
