A Scarce Flat-Rim Plate by Cornelius Bradford - SOLD

Very Scarce 9” Flat Rim Plate by Cornelius Bradford, while in Philadelphia.1753-1770. This plate has his Philadelphia touch. Bradford started in NYC 1752-1753 moving to Philadelphia in 1753 until 1770 when he return to NYC working there until 1785.

This plate is in very good condition with two fine “as struck” touches of
His Philadelphia touch. Examples of Bradford’s pewter are quite uncommon. In the past 50 years I have had less than 5 and this is the first flat-rim plate I have encountered.
