This "bright-cut" engraved teapot is attributed with confidence to the shop of Israel Trask, Beverly, MA circa 1820's. Trask is known for his attention to design changes. He kept up with the latest fashion to provide his customers with the newest designs. This teapot features a "pin-wheel" motif with leaves engraved on the body and the unusual addition of leaves on the lid. In very good condition retaining the original wood finial and wood handle. 6 7/8" tall to top of finial and 10 1/2" long.
