American Pewter > Teapots, Coffeepots, Pitchers & Sugar Bowls
This nearly mint coffeepot is by George Richardson of Cranston, Rhode Island circa 1828-1845. Richardson had begun his career in Boston in 1818 and moved to Cranston in 1828. The piece was definitely made after the move to Rhode Island. Marked only with Richardson's "C" touch which was a style designation, this pot is nearly mint inside and out. The overall height to top of finial is 8 3/4".
