A Fine Pair of Tall Fluid Lamps by Capen & Molineux - SOLD

This pair of fluid lamps are the product of the shop of Capen & Molineux, NYC 1848-1854.

These lamps are quite tall measuring 10 5/8" to the top of the burner. They have a pleasantly formed shaft and excellent proportions in the component parts.

Capen & Molineux produced a wide and varied selection of fluid lamps ranging from small chamber lamps to examples over 12" tall.

In fine condition. Caps on burners are reproduction replacements.
