A Large Basin by Blakslee Barns

Blakslee Barns worked in Philadelphia from 1812-17. His work is known exclusively with flatware.

He produced plates dishes and basins of various sizes. No legitimate forms in hollowware exist.

He work was of a consistant fine quality, both in workmanship and metal.
